The Local 1180 Education Fund provides members with a variety of opportunities to validate, develop, improve, and enhance their education and workplace skills.
Your role has evolved to initiative-taking partner! Today’s professionals engage in a dynamic new type of workplace – and are often called upon to communicate, plan, organize, and negotiate at diverse levels. Today’s professionals are also called upon to be critical thinkers, multi-taskers, risk takers, problem solvers, good communicators, and experts in human relations.
The Local 1180 Education Fund Trustees are introducing a new format and platform for Training and are excited about how helpful it will be on a day-to-day basis and/or during the studying process.
This innovative and powerful program is designed to help participants prepare . . . initiate . . . and adapt the skills needed to succeed in this new strategic partnership, including supporting your organization’s goals and your goals, . . . establishing trust, credibility, and authority . . . proactively managing tasks, and to provide participants with opportunities to practice administrative skills and supervisory techniques on exercises addressing management situations and scenarios; in-basket tasks and exercises; and situations addressing judgment, diagnosis, alternatives, and rationale for selection.
This powerful program is also designed to provide exam test candidates with exam strategies and test-taking techniques and developed to provide administrative and technical professionals with a collection of ‘soft skills’ addressing workplace effectiveness.
